The Journey to Becoming a Super Woman is a one-woman play that tells the true life story of Nafeesa Monroe: a girl of mixed ethnicity who felt she never belonged. Told in her own words and poetry, sharing intimate truths from her sexual abuse, her stay in a mental hospital, to the realization that she, in spite of it all, is a super woman, the Journey proves to be a moving and inspiring one.
